thanks to Henry from Art House AR I was able to practice compositing 3D animations into real footage, imitating a popout AR activated animation to emphasize the potential immersive effect Art House’s AR tech can provide to other brands. the airpods max model was premade, i produced all other texturing, animation, compositing, and sound effects.

I was fortunate to contribute to Art House AR’s first showcase event Venice.AR hosted on Jan. 19th 2024!

I was tasked with recreating the historic “Race Thru The Clouds” rollercoaster in Venice Beach using vintage postcards and photographs, and to optimize the model and animation for AR use. The model consisted of ~57k polygons total, and all textures and animations were baked for AR format. The model was used in various activations, such as a full wall mural and drink coasters. I optimized poly count by assessing importance of certain details, using textures in place of what would be heavy geometry, and maintaining the same fidelity of detail throughout.
